WARM UP WITH THE KOROWAI

OPEN TRIP
( 8 days 7 night )
Asmat, Papua

Often misunderstood as cannibals, the Korowai live on the border between the Asmat and Mappi districts in Papua. Their natural habitat is a very remote and almost inaccessible rain forest that takes a lot of effort and patience to reach.

The Korowai possess the impeccable ability to survive with what is provided around them by nature. They are skilled hunters and gatherers and live in expertly constructed tree houses. Knowledge about their way of life and society is scattered and shrouded in mystery.

SpektakelPlesir! invites you to embark on a genuine Korowai traditions. Warm up with them, talk about their culture and engage in hunting or gathering. Feel them.
